Rosehip Season at Thula & Bloom

This afternoon, I picked a bundle of ripe, bright red rosehips from the garden — There’s something deeply satisfying about gathering ingredients that grow wild and free, right on our doorstep.

Back inside, I brewed them into a pot of rosehip tea — tart, warming, and full of that earthy sweetness only nature can make. It reminded me why we love this ingredient so much — not just for what it does, but for how it makes us feel.

Pressed from the seeds of wild rose bushes, rosehip oil is one of nature’s most beautiful skin allies. It’s packed with vitamins A, C, and E, and rich in essential fatty acids that help skin stay soft, strong, and radiant — especially through the cooler months.

Here’s why we adore it:

For it's deep hydration and ability to help the skin hold onto moisture;
For the way it gently brightens dull or uneven tone;
For its ability to supports cell renewal and natural elasticity;
For the way it calms and soothes dryness or irritation

As the season changes and turns to winter, our skin often craves more nourishment — and rosehip delivers that in the purest, most effortless way.

At Thula & Bloom, we use rosehip oil across several of our nurturing blends because it perfectly captures what our brand stands for: honest ingredients, slow rituals, and nature’s quiet but powerful brilliance.

It’s amazing how something so small, growing wild among the thorns, can bring such deep comfort — in a cup of tea, or a drop of oil.
